Hello!  My name is Betty and I specialize in photographing
pets and their humans.

I was able to recently retire as a Licensed Optician & Contact Lens Fitter and focus on one of my favourite pastimes... taking photos and capturing images of people with the animals they love.

I currently reside in Richmond BC and can travel around the lower mainland/Fraser Valley for clients. I live with my husband and 4 cats.  I've spent over 30 years photographing my 3 daughters
and now a grandson and many pets as they've grown up.

I love all animals! 
Growing up I always asked my parents for a pet chicken or owl and one of my favourite books was "Owls in the Family" by Farley Mowatt.  I never got one of those pets but we always had
a cat or dog. 


I don't have photos with all of them
but I do have the one below with PopTart in 1987. 
When I have come across an old photo with a cherished
pet it makes my heart swell, and that is why I have chosen
people with their pets as my main genre.  It is not however, 
a prerequisite that you have an animal
as I also love to photograph children,
singles, couples, and families.
